For 45 years, Cherry Hill Development Corporation has worked alongside residents to advance housing, economic opportunity, community planning, and neighborhood revitalization. What began as a grassroots movement in the 1970s and became a formally incorporated organization in 1981 continues today through a new generation of resident-led leadership and community investment.

A transformative mixed-income residential development creating new housing opportunities and community investment on the former Patapsco Elementary School site.
Blight Reduction Homeownership Initiative (BRHI)
5 Homes. 2 completed in 2026 and available for purchase. 3 homes in active development — converting vacant and blighted properties into affordable homeownership opportunities.

Legacy Homeowner Repair Initiative
Critical home repair assistance for 13 longtime Cherry Hill homeowners, protecting their investment and stability.
